Terms of Service
1. About these Terms
These Terms describe the general terms for using the Draverton Web website and requesting remote web development or website support services. A separate written proposal, statement of work, invoice, or service agreement may add specific terms for a particular engagement.
2. Services
Draverton Web may provide landing page development, small business website development, CMS setup and configuration, website redesign, mobile responsiveness optimization, website speed optimization, and website maintenance and support. The available services and starting prices are described on the Services and Pricing page.
3. Requests and scope
A contact form submission is a request for review, not an acceptance of work or a guaranteed quote. Before work begins, the parties should confirm the requested deliverables, materials, timing, price, payment terms, revision expectations, and any access needed. Changes outside the agreed scope may require a revised estimate or schedule.
4. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate project information, timely feedback, and materials needed for the agreed work.
- Maintain the right to use submitted text, images, logos, code, domains, and other materials.
- Provide lawful access to relevant hosting, CMS, or other systems when access is part of the agreed scope.
- Review deliverables and identify issues or requested changes within the agreed review period.
5. Pricing and payment
Published starting prices are not fixed quotes. The final price may change with quantity, complexity, timing, formats, revisions, third-party costs, and the condition of an existing website. Payment timing and accepted methods are determined in the applicable proposal, invoice, or service agreement.
6. Revisions and approvals
Included revisions, if any, are limited to the number and type stated in the applicable scope. A request to change an approved direction, add pages, replace supplied materials, or address a new issue may be treated as additional work. Client approval of a deliverable confirms that the deliverable may move to the next stage unless the written scope says otherwise.
7. Third-party systems
Websites may depend on hosting providers, CMS platforms, domains, plugins, payment services, email providers, or other third-party systems. Those providers control their own availability, policies, pricing, security, and changes. Draverton Web can assist with configuration within scope but does not control third-party services.
8. Intellectual property
Ownership or licensing of project deliverables, client materials, third-party assets, open-source components, and reusable technical methods depends on the applicable written scope and the rights available for each item. Unless agreed otherwise, clients remain responsible for confirming that their materials may be used.
9. Prohibited use
You may not use the website or services to request unlawful activity, distribute malware, infringe third-party rights, deceive visitors, or gain unauthorized access to systems. Draverton Web may refuse or stop work that creates a legal, security, or safety concern.
10. No guaranteed outcome
Draverton Web does not promise rankings, revenue, conversions, uninterrupted availability, security certification, legal compliance, or a particular business result. Website performance can depend on hosting, content, third-party services, visitor behavior, and factors outside the agreed work.
11. Suspension and termination
Either party may end an engagement according to the applicable written agreement. If no specific term exists, work may be paused or ended when payment is overdue, required materials are not supplied, the request changes materially, or continuing would create a legal or technical risk. Amounts due for completed or committed work remain payable subject to the applicable agreement.
12. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the website or services change. The current update date appears above. A project-specific written agreement controls if it conflicts with a general website statement.
