Service Delivery Policy
1. Remote delivery
Draverton Web delivers services online. Communication, discovery, file exchange, website configuration, review, and support are performed through remote channels agreed for the engagement. No in-person work, photography session, printing, or physical product delivery is included unless a written agreement expressly says otherwise.
2. Starting a service
Work begins after the requested scope, price or pricing method, timing, payment terms, and required materials or access have been confirmed. A contact form submission is not itself an approval to begin. If the requested service depends on an existing website, the current condition of that website may affect the final scope.
3. Client materials and access
The client is responsible for providing accurate content, approved branding, images, credentials through a secure method, domain or hosting access, and other materials identified as necessary. Draverton Web may pause work when access is incomplete, unsafe, unauthorized, or unavailable. Passwords should not be sent through the public request form.
4. Service-specific delivery
- Landing pages and small business websites: page structure, responsive implementation, and agreed content are delivered within the confirmed scope.
- CMS setup: installation or configuration is limited to the system, settings, and access described in the scope.
- Redesigns: updates focus on the agreed design, structure, and user-interface areas of the existing website.
- Mobile optimization: adjustments address the identified phone and tablet behavior within the agreed pages and systems.
- Speed optimization: work may include image, file, and configuration changes that are appropriate for the current site.
- Maintenance and support: monthly work may include content updates, backups, small fixes, and technical assistance within the agreed support limits.
5. Timing
Timing depends on scope, client materials, access, feedback, third-party systems, and the current condition of the website. Any date or time estimate is a planning estimate unless a written agreement states otherwise. Delays caused by missing materials, access, approvals, payment, or third-party systems may change the schedule.
6. Review and acceptance
The client should review each delivered item within the period stated in the project scope. Feedback should identify the specific page, element, issue, or requested change. Silence or use of a deliverable does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived, but it may move the work to the next agreed stage.
7. Change requests
Additional pages, new functionality, new content, a different design direction, extra formats, expanded support, or work on a different issue may require a revised price and schedule. Draverton Web will identify a material scope change before performing it where practical.
8. Third-party dependencies
Hosting providers, content management systems, domains, plugins, email systems, and other third-party services may change or become unavailable. Draverton Web can assist with supported configuration within scope but does not control the provider’s infrastructure, policies, pricing, or security.
9. Maintenance boundaries
Maintenance and support does not automatically include a full redesign, custom software development, emergency response, security incident response, legal review, copywriting, photography, ongoing content strategy, or any item not listed in the applicable scope.
